Eccentric presses for cold forming
Praber’s eccentric presses for cold forming represent the pinnacle of precision and reliability in the metalworking sector. Designed for operations requiring high accuracy, these machines are ideal for cutting, punching, drawing, and other applications where precision is paramount.
Cold forming is a technique that allows metals to be shaped without heating them, maintaining the material’s mechanical properties and ensuring a superior surface finish. 1 Our eccentric presses are equipped with the most advanced technologies, allowing for optimal management of force and movement, to achieve impeccable results even with very tight tolerances.
Thanks to the use of the most advanced dedicated software, Praber is able to offer a very high level of press customization. Each machine can be configured according to the customer’s specific needs, choosing from various options of thrust, dimensions, stroke, and speed. Furthermore, our solutions include innovative accessories and automation systems that further enhance the efficiency and productivity of the processes.

PRL Series
Mechanical press for cold deformation
and sheet metal cutting
Suitable for forming:

The PRL series of presses is a line of double-drive mechanical presses manufactured with a monolithic electro-welded steel structure.
The raw sheets used to manufacture the frames are meticulously ultrasound-tested and must comply with EN 10160 acceptance classes. The entire structure, once the welding cycle is complete, undergoes a final controlled stress-relieving heat treatment.
At the end of the heat treatment, the entire structure is subjected to sandblasting or shot peening in order to eliminate (slag, rust, etc.) and to obtain the degree of cleanliness required for the type of paint used.
This type of machine is particularly suitable for the cold deformation and cutting of sheet metal.
