Hydraulic presses for cold forming

Hydraulic presses are ideal for the cold forming of metals when high pressing force is required, offering precise control of speed and force throughout the pressing cycle.

This makes them particularly useful for applications requiring fine adjustments, slow and long strokes, such as deep drawing and the forming of complex parts. They are also very flexible, allowing for a variety of forming operations, including punching, bending, and drawing, and are easily adaptable to variable production. Furthermore, hydraulic presses protect materials and dies thanks to the possibility of immediate stopping in case of overload, and they ensure uniform pressure for homogeneous forming of the workpiece.

The main advantages include high and constant force, flexibility and control, operational safety and adaptability, resulting in economic benefits for small or variable batch productions.

Application sectors

Hot forging of steel (valves, screws, universal joints, connecting rods, flanges, etc.)

  • Automotive Production of automotive components such as chassis, body panels, engine parts, exhaust systems, and many other parts requiring high precision and strength.

  • Aerospace Manufacturing structural components, engine parts, and other critical parts that require high-performance materials and strict tolerances.

  • Household appliances Production of components for household appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, ovens, and other appliances.

  • Electronics Manufacturing metal enclosures, supports, and other parts necessary for electronic devices.

  • Construction Production of metal structural elements, such as beams, columns, and other components used in civil and industrial constructions.

  • Furniture Creation of metal parts for furniture, such as chair frames, tables, and other furnishing accessories.

HP Series

Hydraulic press for cold sheet metal forming and blanking
PRESS RANGE FROM 2000 TO 8000 kN

Suitable for forming:

Steel
Steel

The HP series of presses is a line of hydraulic machines manufactured with a tested electro-welded steel structure and a bed connected by 4 columns.

The raw sheets used to manufacture the frames are meticulously ultrasound-tested and must comply with EN 10160 acceptance classes. The entire structure, once the welding cycle is complete, undergoes a final controlled stress-relieving heat treatment.

At the end of the heat treatment, the entire structure is subjected to sandblasting or shot peening in order to eliminate (slag, rust, etc.) and to obtain the degree of cleanliness required for the type of paint used.

This type of machine is particularly suitable for the cold deformation and cutting of sheet metal.

HP-C Series

Our high-rigidity HP-C series machines are single-acting, monolithic-type hydraulic presses with an ascending slide, suitable for forming, coining, and blanking.

The monolithic portal frame made of steel is configured with symmetrical sections, allowing a maximum deflection of the bolster of 0.07 mm when applying a maximum load uniformly over 2/3 of the die-holder surface.

The slide, with adjustable thrust and strokes, is moved by two double-acting approach cylinders fixed in the lower base, and a central cylinder used for the final pressing force required for the work to be performed. The main and auxiliary hydraulic circuits with their respective pumps and oil tank are located on board the machine, and the control console is mobile to be positioned in the best operating condition for the operator.

MONOLITHIC RING STRUCTURE:
A single portal-shaped element, with an upper crossbeam complete with a die-fixing plate with a central hole or T-slots. The base is made of a monolithic steel block, thermally stabilized in a furnace, and the housing for the main cylinder is located in the lower part of the base.
